Rosalia
Rosalia Vila is Rosalia Vila is a Spanish flamenco and pop singer. When she was a teenager she sang both in traditional and popular music. However, her singing interests have broadened to include soul, hip-hop and hip-hop. Pepe Habichuela Flamenco guitarist who is renowned for her talent, described her voice as one that was sweet and had an old-fashioned sound. Following her debut album Los Angeles garnered attention from the U.S. public and earned the singer a Latin Grammy nomination for Best New Artist her 2018 follow-up El Mal Querer was a huge commercial and critical hit making it to the top of Billboard's Latin Pop Albums chart and finally winning an Grammy. La Fama was released by the Weeknd in 2021. Motomami came out as her third full-length album. It included songs written in collaboration with other artists and producers, including Cory Henry. It was released in 2022, as a result of the Saturday Night Live appearance by Rosalia, the vocalist of Chicken Teriyaki. Rosalia is the first Spanish artist to perform alone on the popular program. Along with taking home three other Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia was also the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
